A traditional funeral service offering would include the basic services of the funeral director and staff, embalming, dressing, casketing and cosmetology of deceased, visitation at the funeral home, conduction and supervision of services at the funeral home or facility of choice and at interment service held on the same day, hearse service for removal of deceased from place of death and for the day of service, one pall bearers’ limousine, one family limousine, and one utility sedan for floral and clergy
Itemized Professional Services
Basic Services of Funeral Director & Staff
Our professional service charge includes, but is not limited to, personnel available on call 24 hours a day, consultation with family & clergy, arrangement and direction desired, procurement of obituary notices, preparation and filing of necessary notices, authorizations and consents, and other services and attendance prior to, during, and following funeral services, including coordinating with all outside parties that contribute to portions of services rendered such as casket & vault companies, cemeteries, or crematory.
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement which does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Aside from the actual embalming procedure, this fee includes the use of our state of the art preparation room that is in full compliance with federal EPA, OSHA, and medical waste mandates and standards. Additionally included is our experienced team of licensed embalmers to perform and oversee all matters pertaining to patient care.

Use of facilities for Visitation
This fee includes the use of the Funeral Home, arrangement & display of floral tributes, parking lot assistance, door personnel, and professional supervision during visitation. Minimum of 2 hours.
This fee includes professional staff coordination and supervision of funeral ceremonies at the funeral home and/or church or other facility of your choice. Graveside service is included when the burial takes place on the same day.
Visitation & Funeral Service
This fee represents visitation at the funeral home or other facility prior to a funeral service on the same day.
This fee is applied for services at the funeral home or another facility where the deceased is not present, or has been cremated. Our services include supervision & coordination of the memorial service, transportation and arrangement of floral tributes and memorial items, and a graveside service.
This includes transportation of deceased (casketed or cremated) to cemetery, supervision of service, transportation & arrangement of floral tributes, and supervision of vault & grave closing.

- Limousine, seating a maximum of 7 people
* Use of any Sampson vehicle outside of a 15 mile radius of the funeral home will incur a fee. **Use of limousines after a four hour period, will incur a fee of $100.00 per hour.
Each memorial package offered includes a register book, 100 printed prayer cards and 50 acknowledgement cards, cross or crucifix. Their prices range depending on the package selected. Should you desire to select items separately, they are priced accordingly.
Your funeral director will furnish a complete list of caskets, outer burial containers, cremation urns, and burial clothing.
