The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Mary "Maureen" C.  Milbier (Tabb)
Mary “Maureen” (Tabb) Milbier, 94, died August 30, 2018 at Heritage Hall East in Agawam. Born in Cobh (Queenstown), County Cork, Ireland on December 24th, 1923 to the late William and Hannah (Ahearn) Tabb, she immigrated to the United States at age two and grew up in Springfield, MA. Maureen was a communicant of St. Mary’s Longmeadow, a member of the St. Mary’s Guild, and a 1941 graduate of the former Technical High School. She worked for the Telephone Company, Ahearn Trucking, and at Patrissi Landscaping. In addition to her parents, Maureen was predeceased by her husband Donald J. Milbier Sr., her daughters-in-law Lori Davis Milbier and Cele Griffin Milbier and her brothers William, Christopher, and James Tabb. She leaves her daughter Maureen (Terry) Dunphy of Westfield, her three sons; Donald Jr. of England, William of East Longmeadow and Joseph (Karen) of Eastham, MA. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Kathleen, Kyle (Catherine), Brenna, Matthew (Jasmine), Colleen, Brian (Caitlin), Kevin (Shannon), Maura, and Sean (Nell) and 8 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank the Unit A staff at Heritage Hall East, especially Mike and Jennifer who were with her from her first day at Heritage to her last day at Heritage. The family also thanks the Hospice Team and volunteers from Baystate Hospice especially Roy and Katie. A period of Visitation will be held from 10-11am at St. Mary’s Church Longmeadow on Friday, September 7th, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to begin at 11 AM. Cemetery services will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
