WILBRAHAM- Grace (Barkev) Barnagian, 87, of Wilbraham passed away October 4, 2018 at Palmer Healthcare Center. Grace, daughter of the late Aram and Celia (Papazian) Barkev, was born in New York, NY on September 20, 1931. She was the owner of Gregory’s Restaurant and Pizza Pub. Grace was also a member of St. Gregory’s Armenian Church where she was a soloist in the choir for many years. She loved music and she was an excellent cook and seamstress. Her family and homemaking were her priority. She was predeceased by her parents who were genocide survivors; her grandfather, Simon Barkev who was personal secretary to Armenian National Hero, general Antranig Pasha; her sister Beatrice Kasabian; and her son in law, Alan Noyes. Grace will be missed by all who knew her, including her husband, Gregory L. Barnagian; her son, Gregory M. Barnagian and his wife Gaiane of Hampden; her daughter, Naomi S. Noyes of East Longmeadow; her grandchildren, Derrick Barnagian, Arielle Majka, Alexis Noyes, and Lukas Noyes; her great grandchildren, Parker and Paisley Majka; and many extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Grace’s Life will be held Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Gregory’s Restaurant and Pizza Pub, 2391 Boston Road, Wilbraham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Grace’s memory may be made to St. Gregory’s Armenian Church, PO Box 51064, Indian Orchard, MA 01151.
