Diane L.  Canavosio
Diane L. Canavosio, 84, of the Life Care Center of Wilbraham, passed away on Sunday July 9, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield to the late Caesar and Ellen (Maloney) Canavosio, Diane was a graduate of Commerce High School and worked for many years for the former Albert Steiger Company. She traveled throughout Europe, enjoyed collecting stamps and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. Predeceased by her sister Gloria (Canavosio) Remillard on November 2, 2014, Diane leaves her three nieces: Debby Smith of Winter Springs, FL, Michelle White of Enfield, CT, and Sue Garcia of Wilbraham, and their families. She also leaves her brother-in-law Harvey Remillard of Springfield, cousins, and friends. Calling hours for Diane will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 9:30-11:00 AM, preceding Funeral Services, at Sampson's Chapel of the Acres, 21 Tinkham Rd., Springfield. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, 1601 State St., Springfield.
