The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Florence Corbeil can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Florence E.  Corbeil (McIntyre)
Florence Corbeil of Springfield was called home on Thursday, July 5th. The daughter of the late Lloyd and Lucy (Perkins) McIntyre, she was born February 7th, 1943 in Bellows Falls VT. She retired after 30+ years as a member of the school lunch program at Putnam Vocational and Sodexho Food Service, she also worked for many years as a hairdresser after attending the Kay Harvey Hairdressing Academy. In addition to her parents, Florence was predeceased by her son, Lloyd A. Corbeil. Florence will be remembered by her cherished family including her husband, Arnold Corbeil Sr; Two sons Arnold Corbeil Jr and Raymond Corbeil, both of Springfield; her brother James McIntyre and his wife Barbara of Springfield; Two grandchildren, Christopher Corbeil of Springfield and Jennifer Reynolds of Hartford and her Husband Kaymal; as well as five great grandchildren, Vivien, Axel, Olivia, Myles, and Wesley; As well as her loving friends Sarah and Laura Hakey, whose kindness, compassion, and assistance will forever be appreciated by her family. A period of visitation for Florence will be held on Monday, July 9th from 4-7pm at the Sampson Chapel of the Acres at 21 Tinkham Rd in Springfield. A liturgy of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday July 10th, 10 am at St.Patricks Church in Springfield. Burial will follow privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Florence’s memory be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital-501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Shriners Hospital for Children- Attn: Office of Development 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
