Janet Ann White (Borgatti) of Springfield was called into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 11th. She was born July 13th, 1940 to the late Allesmo and Margaret (Melloni) Borgatti in Springfield. She grew up in Agawam and was a graduate of Agawam High School. Janet was a dedicated homemaker who provided a loving and caring home for her family. She was also a member of the Golden Girls Club of the former 3rd National Bank. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Edward and Paul Borgatti, her sister Claire Flaro and her great-granddaughter Lila Shink. Janet will forever be in the hearts of her husband Richard C. White Sr, her children Richard C. White Jr of Springfield, and Donna Holden and her husband Robert Sr of East Longmeadow. She will also be remembered by her brother Ronald Borgatti of Ohio, as well as her 4 grandchildren: Kylie White, Danielle White, Robert Holden Jr his wife, Sarah and Richard Holden. Janet’s family would especially like to thank Dr. Wilson Mertens of the D’Amour Cancer Center for his 18 years of dedicated and compassionate care. Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation for Janet from 1-3pm on Sunday, December 16th at Sampson’s Chapel of the Acres on Tinkham Rd in Springfield. A funeral home service will follow at 3pm. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, Janet’s family has requested that a memorial tribute in her memory be made to the Shriners Hospital, 516 Carew St, Springfield MA 01104.
