Arnold A. Lively of Wilbraham entered into eternal rest on Saturday March, 16th 2019 at Mercy Medical Center. Arnold was born June 7th, 1934 to the late Theogul and Elinor (Pleasant) Lively in Colrain, MA. Arnold proudly served his country in the US Navy as an air craft mechanic. Throughout his career he was the foreman for the Graphics Arts Department for various printed circuit board houses, finishing out his career at Northeast Circuits in East Longmeadow. Arnold was an avid reader, enjoyed movies, was a big Red Sox and Patriots fan, enjoyed painting, and playing the clarinet. He looked forward to Friday nights when he played dominoes with the gang. Arnold was always handy around the house and there was never a project that he couldn’t tackle or something he couldn’t fix. Arnold enjoyed gardening, was an avid fisherman, and member of the American Legion. One of the biggest joys in his life was being a grandfather to his ten cherished grandchildren. He was a loving pet parent to his four legged friend, Dexter Aloysius Cat. In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine B. Lively (Grondin) in 2013. Arnold will be remembered by his five children including his son, Michael Lively and his fiancé Lisa LaBrie of Chicopee; four daughters, Kathleen Keohen and her husband Vern of Fallbrook, CA, Ann Gentile and her husband Joseph of Springfield, Patricia LaFountain and her husband Micheal of Ware and Arlene Piela and her husband Eugene of Chicopee; one nephew, Don Giroux and his wife Joyce of East Haddam, CT; ten grandchildren, Nicholas, Brian And Jason Lively, Sarah Kapinos and her husband Brian, Anthony Gentile and his wife Ines, Lydia Gentile, Jessica and Ian LaFountain and Alora and Courtney Piela, and one great grandchild on the way whom he eagerly looked forward to meeting. Friends and family are invited to the Sampson Chapel of the Acres from 2pm-5pm on Sunday, March 24th for a period of visitation. A liturgy of Christian burial will be held at 11am on Monday, March 25th, 2019 at St. Cecilia’s in Wilbraham. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Agawam at 1pm.
