Springfield- James Robert Cooper, age 66, passed away at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by his loving family on July 6, 2019. He was born in Springfield to the late Robert and Esther (Weber) Cooper on Dec 16, 1952. James was a Navy Veteran. He worked as a tax preparer for many years. He was a Mason and member of the Mt.Orthodox Lodge, serving the craft he loved. James leaves his loving wife Carla (Benson) Cooper of Springfield; one daughter, Heather Klein and her husband Scott of West Brookfield; one son, Todd Forward and his wife Carol of Wilbraham and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and special family. He was predeceased by his sister Gail Morehouse. A Memorial Service will be held on Wed, July 17, 2019 at 3 pm at the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Tekoa Chapter of DeMoley, 72 Broad Street Westfield, MA 01085.
