CHICOPEE—Clara Perri, 96, passed away on August 5 at Willimansett East in Chicopee. Born in Springfield on October 5, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Vincent Cicerchia and Mary (Defalco) Cicerchia and attended Springfield schools. Clara was the proprietor of Clara’s Restaurant on Main Street in the south end of Springfield in the 1960s. She later managed the kitchens at The Windmill Restaurant in West Springfield, and St. Stanislaus Catholic School in Chicopee. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Ross Perri, who passed in 2000. She leaves her loving sons Bruce (Ruthy) of Hampden and Guy (Helen) of Springfield; her brothers Vincent Jr. (Margaret) of Ludlow, and Arthur (Elaine) of Holyoke; her grandchildren Garth, Trasie, and Bryson; her great grandchildren Hunter, Joshua, Brian, Alex and Mallory; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her son Ross Jr., her grandson Shane Perri, and her sisters Elizabeth Durant, Carmella Kerr, and Dorothy Campana. Visiting hours for Clara will be held Friday, August 9, 2019 from 9:00am-10:30am at Sampson’s Chapel of the Acres, 21 Tinkham Road, Springfield, MA 01129 followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial beginning at 11am in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, 417 Boston Road, Springfield, MA 01109. Rites of Committal and internment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 421 Tinkham Road, Springfield, MA 01129. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shane D.
