Ann M. Hubbard, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center. Daughter of the late William J. and Ann (Hanley) Meserve, she was born in Springfield on September 25, 1944. Growing up in Springfield and Longmeadow, she graduated from Cathedral High School and went on to spend many years as a clerk working for the Town of Longmeadow assessor’s office. Ann enjoyed watching her favorite teams, the Giants and Notre Dame, play football. She found the most joy in watching her sons play high school football and her grandchildren in their various sports activities. She was their biggest fan. She was an avid reader and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles. Above all, she loved spending time with her friends and family. Ann will be missed by all who knew her, including her sons Michael Hubbard and Brian Hubbard, both of Longmeadow, MA; her sister/daughter, Marie Meserve-Lucier of Longmeadow, MA; her stepdaughter Pam Kozak of Belchertown, MA; her stepson Roger Hubbard of Blandford, Ma; her brothers, William P. Meserve and his wife Myrijam of Boardman, Ohio and Mark E. Meserve and his wife Suzanne of West Springfield, MA; her grandchildren Shelby and Haley Lucier, Josh and Jessica Kozak, and Eric Hubbard; as well as many cherished Nieces and Nephews and other extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Ann is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert W. Hubbard. Visiting hours for Ann will be held at Sampson’s Chapel of the Acres, 21 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, on Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 9am-11am followed by a funeral home service beginning at 11am. Rites of Committal and internment immediately following in Longmeadow Cemetery, 34 Williams St, Longmeadow, MA 01106. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to T.J.
