Theodore "Teddy"  LaRose, Jr.
Theodore “Teddy” J. LaRose Jr, 69, passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife Sat in Wingate at Springfield. He was born Jan. 7, 1948 to the late Theodore and Pauline LaRose. Ted worked for many years as a forklift operator for Old Colony Envelope. He was a member of the Agawam Sportsmen Club and the NRA. Teddy had a great sense of humor which resulted in numerous friendships. An avid Red Sox fan, he also enjoyed Nascar Racing and collecting many items over the years. Teddy loved music, especially country music, but most of all, he loved his wife, two daughters, grandson, two sons-in-law and his dog Brandy. He leaves his loving wife of 47 years, Joanne LaRose, his beloved daughters Tara Tremblay and her husband Jerry of Spfld., and Amy Lukowski and her husband Joseph of Easthampton, his cherished grandson Kyle Lukowski, his brothers Frederick LaRose and his wife Patricia of E. Long., and Gerald LaRose and his wife Kathleen, his sisters Sharon Waldron of Tampa, FL., and Cynthia Bailey of Orlando, FL., his brother-in-law Gerald Hatch of TX., along with several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his sisters Romona Gamble and Laura Goodrow. A Funeral Service will be held FRIDAY 11 AM at SAMPSON’S CHAPEL OF THE ACRES, 21 TINKHAM RD., SPFLD. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Park Cemetery, Parker St., Spfld. Calling Hours will be held THURS from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the Dakine Humane Society, 171 Union St., Spfld, MA 01105. The family would like to thank the staff at Wingate at Springfield, 2nd Floor and Beacon Hospice for their love and compassion they showed Teddy.
